Rendezvous 2008

August 6 - 10

Rendezvous is a 5 day camp out at an unimproved campground in the Medicine Bow National Forest, which is between Cheyenne and Laramie. Wednesday morning is general camp setup and that afternoon we have some get acquainted activities. That evening is a free pot luck dinner. WE provides hamburgers, hotdogs, condiments and we ask everyone to bring something to share. After dinner we have a brief opening ceremony and some fun activities. The rest of the week is full of various activities, contests, workshops, and night entertainment. Sunday, the last day, offers a spiritual service, time for group photos and the Fractured Faerie Tale. This is followed by a closing ceremony and camp tear down.

Meals, snacks, water and ice, as well as showers, can be purchased at our “kitchen”. There are also t-shirts, caps, visors, and tote bags for sale. At no charge, we do provide portable toilets and daily trash pickup.

It provides a friendly, safe, GLBT affirming outdoor adventure. We strive to make everyone, from everywhere, feel welcome and comfortable.

As more information is available this page will be updated.
